Attendant Resources

Attendant Training Opportunities

The Independent Living Center provides training opportunities for attendants.  Check back for a training schedule or contact our office for more information at 800-346-8951.

Background Checks

All attendants who work for either of TILC's Consumer Directed Services or In-Home Care programs must complete a background check with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR). If you do not have a completed background check, you can download the application and submit it to TILC with a check or money order for $9 made out to the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).  You can also complete the application online for $10, which speeds up the application process. If you believe you are already on the Family Care Safety Registry, you can confirm your background check on the FCSR website
